I don’t get it, why can’t you just appoint a mid 40’s person instead? Wouldn’t that be an instant win? Literally anyone could outdo Trump, like what the hell?

      “politics”

Next in line are still elderly but they’ve been spending their whole life building up to this so they aren’t going to put some young whippersnapper in charge and undo the years of bribery, corruption and arse-kissing that got them to where they are

The sitting president is the leader of his party. That’s the rule. He’s a sitting president, he has to get someone else to run, preferably WAY before now, but that looks like ‘‘I’m a bad president’’ which usually throws the election to the other party.

In reality, the president isn’t running the country solo, you’re voting for administrative appointments. We know who Trump will appoint, out of the two I’ll stick with the Biden admin.

Don’t you have a lesson for us

You thought your rule would always last

There’s a lot of far right movement happening around the world and evertime they come back from their propaganda meetings in Hungary, there’s a new far right idea regurgitated. Even Trump and other Republicans went and came bace with talking terms for Republican Americans.

Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈfidɛs]; Hungarian: Fidesz – Magyar Polgári Szövetség) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Hungary led by Viktor Orbán.

        • I do not think many democrats have insisted that. Biden did considerably better on content, he actually got his facts right whereas Trump lied constantly. But presentation is everything, and Biden failed horribly at that.

Of course, the day after Biden seems fine again at the rally he did. Really unfortunate for him.

I will never forgive the Democrat party for treating our citizens with such contempt. They literally hate us and think we’re all mindless idiots, in their feverish desperation to preserve the status-quo with their UberLib presidential candidate that they think they’re “above” actual politics, which consists of things like talking to people and listening to people’s concerns and creating easy-to-follow narratives with engaging leaders.

Nope. They want line to keep going up and they will force this nightmare on you to keep it going up.

You could have put nearly ANYONE on that state and they would have ran circles around Trump’s inept lying. Anyone. Get Bernie, get Newsom, get Kamala even, get fucking Hillary back and get her drunk. Literally ANYONE could have done better against the man most likely to win the presidency and also most likely to end democracy.

The only reason I can imagine they think it’s safe to gamble this way is if they don’t actually care about the outcome. They don’t want change, they want the story to unfold the way they have already written it.

No actual congressional politician has that I know of. It would be political suicide until they are sure they are “allowed” to do so. However, it may only take one brave soul and the rest will follow. They plan these things behind closed doors to try to stay united.

And sex education, birth control, maybe gynecology in general, and say a big hello to child-brides, enforced prayer in school, and the courts loosening up all those old “restrictive” policies about racial discrimination. Also, industries everywhere will have a solution for dealing with all their toxic waste. Directly into your drinking water.

Is it a law that the health insurance companies who shouldn’t exist in the first place can’t recognize that relationship?

A low information voter, also known as a misinformation voter, is someone who participates in elections despite being generally poorly informed about political issues[1]. This term has been popular in the United States since the mid-1990s.

Key characteristics of low information voters include:

                  1. They tend to have more moderate ideological views compared to high-information voters[1].
                  2. They are less likely to vote, but when they do, they often choose candidates based on personal appeal rather than policy positions[1].
                  3. They are more likely to be swing voters and vote split-ticket[1].
                  4. They may rely on cues or heuristics, such as a candidate’s appearance or behavior, rather than substantial information to make voting decisions[1].
                  5. They can be more susceptible to emotional appeals on various topics, including the economy, immigration, and racial relations[4].

Low information voters often lack fundamental facts about government and exhibit a low “need for cognition,” meaning they are less inclined to engage in effortful thinking about complex issues[4]. This can make them more vulnerable to misinformation and less likely to critically evaluate candidates’ claims or policy positions[4].

It’s important to note that the term “low information voter” is sometimes used pejoratively, particularly in American political discourse[1]. However, the concept is studied seriously in political science to understand voting behavior and its impact on electoral outcomes.

I haven’t seen any news articles about it, I don’t really care what they say. What I have seen, constantly, is people on this platform understating the fuck out it by saying “he was just stuttering and is old” which is really annoying.

Also I think he was sick, I’d be feeling sick too if my handlers had drugged me like a maul and made me stand under studio lights for an hour.

Your last point is unironically true though. He had information, it was mostly correct, and when it was incorrect it was mostly just the numbers that were wrong by a small amount.

Sadly I think rambling about nonsense and lies coherently looks a lot better than loosely rambling about actual policies incoherently.

The fact that people think amyone came out actually looking good is the worrying part. We’ve known since the last election both candidates are a mess.
