You can see on the left where they tried then realized it was way too big of a task. I probably would have tried a little harder to get some white in the right spot, but definitely not perfectly. Not even close. I ain’t mad

I mean we don’t really know how hard they did try. Maybe they finished both those lines and finally said fuck it.

What happens when the company owner’s son in law “runs the job, because how hard can it be”

This just makes sense. They most likely did a repair or something underneath the bricks. To do this they took them all out and put them in a big pile, did the work and then started to put them back.

Now are you going to just put the bricks back quick and efficiently since all the bricks are the same, or are you going to inspect nearly every single brick with a line to ensure you are placing the correct brick in place?

I know what I would do.

Dude I love puzzles and would love to drag solving that one out as long as possible bc money. But you know the supervisor is telling them to hurry up and ignore the lines so his boss can make some more money.

I would chastise the supervisor and threaten to call him every day until it gets fixed.

I actually quite like the way that looks, but I get that since the lines have an actual purpose, it should probably have been put back the proper way.

You can see the tiles are uneven ground there as well, I will update if they eventually fix the road and put it back properly

My guess is that they either flip the painted bricks over or sand the existing paint off and then either way they can just repaint

It’s a feature, not a bug. You can take them out to work on underground infrastructure, or even it out if there’s a slump, and replace the same materials, instead of having to jackhammer shit up and pour new concrete/asphalt.

It’s a bus stop and I guess they had to readjust them after some time due to the weight of the busses.
