You don’t necessarily have to get them to engage with an argument so much as associate him with something they don’t like.

It’s almost impossible to reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.
They would never have become his supporters in the first place if that were the case.
A very good point
There’s a big intersection between conservatives and people who find it very important to support the military. You don’t necessarily have to get them to engage with an argument so much as associate him with something they don’t like.
