Recently, the group moved into Richmound, a village of around 150 people in south-western Saskatchewan, and settled in at a former school.

Ms Didulo and around 15 to 25 of her followers have been at the site for about a week, says Thomas Fougere of Community TV, a local independent news outlet based in nearby Medicine Hat.

Soon after their arrival, the neighbours began pushing them to leave.

Around 100 local residents drove around the school on Sunday in tractors, semi-trucks and other vehicles, trying to drive out the incomers, according to Mr Fougere.

“It’s the only place in the village where there’s a playground and where kids can safely ride their bikes away from the highway,” he said. “It’s become a high tension situation. The town doesn’t want them.”

This lady is certified. I looked her up on wiki, and find this bit of drama hilarious:

Though Didulo did not initially explain the basis for her claim to be the Monarch of Canada, she later clarified that she had been “appointed” to that position by an American named David J. Carlson, purportedly the “Commander-In-Chief” and “King” of the United States. Didulo claims that Carlson appointed her after she led in 2017 a mission against the Chinese communist military, who were allegedly occupying Canada in underground tunnels, where they were producing adrenochrome, trafficking humans and planning to start World War III by attacking the United States

    Awhile later this happens:

In 2022, David Carlson, whom Didulo claims appointed her as Monarch of Canada, ended their partnership by denouncing Didulo’s behavior and endorsing a former follower of Didulo who now claims to be the true Canadian “Queen”. Didulo responded by suggesting that the person posing online as Carlson may be a clone.

Let’s get back to a time when we recognized and sidelined irrational voices in public discourses. Instead, we’re giving these charlatans room to spread nonsense, allowing others to wrongly validate it.

How do you do that in the age of the internet? How do you stop them from spreading their insanity on platforms like X, Instagram, Facebook, etc? If they aren’t violating guidelines, how do you sideline them?

this person is a grifter who travels to and fro in an RV, collecting donations, as one does, but she claims to be the literal Queen of Canada. Qanon Anonymous is my main source, but I can’t find a good link that isn’t patreon-walled. But it’s a cool podcast.

Anyone know why they can’t be charged with trespassing and removed? Article says the school and land are privately owned now, but surely unless the actual owner is physically there or has given permission it’s a very clear case of trespassing? Especially when they’re asking for plumbers and other tradespeople to come and trying to set something up long-term.

Richmound may not be able to do much officially about it.

Unofficial solutions are always the best way to deal with squatters.

Disconnect the water, deliver some manure, pay that psyops noise at night. That stuff.

A better way is to loosen the hose clamp at the brake booster, which creates a vacuum leak and makes the engine run like shit. It does no harm to the engine so you can’t be charged if caught.

I know this because I’ve done it (and used to be a mechanic). :)

Kinda interesting that QAnon “queen” doesn’t drive through the US and pick up QAnon followers.

Because where Canadians cultists have been welcoming, US QAnon psychopaths would definitely rip her apart.

Honest question. Why does Canada seen to hate using adjectives? “Canada goose”, “Canada day”, “Canada town”…
