Just because it looks spooky doesn’t make it evil. Also, I think it also tried to flesh out two unpopular ideas from the prequels and sequels with the virgin birth of the chosen one and the force dyad.
Sure, but it had other messages too. I’m not sure Acolyte had the one.
I would say the message of the acolyte was:
