Green line issue on Galaxy phones is back to haunt Samsung once again

People have started complaining that a green line has appeared on the display of their Samsung Galaxy phones after installing software updates.

Getting a green line after an update is a serious issue. With phones getting 5-7 years of updates one green line after warranty can leave you on the hook for expensive display replacement.

To date OnePlus is the only manufacturer to acknowledge the issue and offer lifetime free screen replacement for the issue (Only in india unfortunately).
