It’s estimated that between 1,000 and 1,200 settlers surrounded the village, and around 500 stormed it just after midday local time on Friday, blocking all the roads in the area.

According to Abu-Alia [head of the village council], the Israeli military arrived at the scene at around 3 p.m. local time, but did not stop the settlers from attacking the village. Instead, Israeli soldiers allowed them to raid homes, prevented Palestinian residents from moving around and blocked ambulances from reaching the injured, he alleged.

Israeli security forces had informed Palestinian officials that the settlers were looking for an Israeli teenager who had gone missing earlier in the day.

They’re not really settlers if they are destroying the places they go to… that’s more of a raider-type Behavior

Hate to what? What a generic statement.

I too dislike things that most people deem negative. Hits me right in the feels.

It’s critical not to include “Jews” in that statement. Israel is not a race, it’s a country committing terrible crimes. Jews as a race represent the entire spectrum of morality from saints to villains in the same way any other race does. A lot of Jews are speaking up against Israeli policy at great cost, some examples being Jewish Voice for Peace and Breaking the Silence, which is an organization of IDF veterans who publish their verified testimonials about the truth of Israeli occupation.

Judge people based on conduct, not on genetics or where they were born/reside.
