I dislike China in general. No actually i have a burning hatred for China, or rather the Chinese government that is within every aspect of China.
It is an authoritarian regime after all, do you think that these phones are being used to aid their goals ? or maybe simply buying them helps support that regime ?
Buying supports their fascist regime (also those phones are likely made with forced labor from their holocaust knockoff) and there is very likely Spyware on the phone.
Now someone might say its also on all other phones but from USA, but they don’t bother my freedom or try to take over the world like fucking cartoon villains also they are allies of my country.

This is another thing that makes me curious.
I live up North of the UK where prices are cheaper, wages are lower. Much much lower than the same costs etc down…south of the very same country.
Things costing less than getting priced up for the sake of it, simply because of geography, is kinda baffling.
Actually I’m very aware of that, i do however look Into not buying stuff made in China as much as possible. Of course i cant see inside products to see that it’s actually 0 China, but i mostly buy local stuff (made in EU) and there is mostly no china inside.
There are however definitely things that you cant buy without china inside, mostly electronics, they basically all have at least some Chinese components inside. Sometimes Taiwan is labeled as China as well, so its pretty much impossible to avoid it in electronics.
But avoiding it as much as possible is good enough for me.
My personal philosophy is to not buy tech products designed and/or owned by Chinese companies. It is very difficult to avoid buying products manufactured in China, but very easy to avoid buying from Chinese companies. All you need to do is pay a bit extra. The problem I have with supporting Chinese tech companies is that they are all essentially owned by the CCP and any technological advances they make can and do directly contribute to the ongoing suppression of the freedom and human rights of minorities in the country. Personally I think it is worth spending a bit more on a non-Chinese product to avoid directly contributing to that problem.
All you need to do is pay a bit extra.
Like I said in another comment in here, I find it odd that we need/want to pay more for things that don’t actually cost that more but do because some companies can’t run the books right (ie: fat cats and excessive profits) and end up with massive corps having to submit a First Gazette Notice.
I had no idea what that meant since I found out last night my company I work for here in the UK, has done just that :/
