    100%. I’m a combat veteran with your standard load out of mental issues, and I refuse to associate with gun nut vets. They scare me. They exist at a base intensity level of at least 8 which just isn’t good for someone who can’t run to 7/11 without a glock strapped to him. They’re evidence of the adage “when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.”

    As you can probably imagine, VA hospitals are pretty strict about guns. I watched a dude get tackled one day because he got into a shouting match with the VA cops about his “right” to carry. He finally got tackled and arrested when he started on about “defending” his rights which given the context only means one thing to any sane person.
