…after starting the wars and breaking the economy in the first place. And saying they fixed it is overselling it.

I will admit, that particular suited man was an awful man. The suited men did not over sell it, many companies were saved from collapse and saved us from a economic collapse, which was arguably the most important part. As for the people, as with many things, it takes time for the effects of goodwill to rollout.

will admit, that particular suited man was an awful man.

What particular man? I didn’t name any, precisely because this problem was not created by any particular individual. It was the entire system of neoliberal capitalism, staffed by multitudes of suited men, that caused the issues.

The suited men did not over sell it, many companies were saved from collapse

Yes, companies were saved. Companies, bot people. And only the big corporations. The rest were left to fail.

and saved us from a economic collapse, which was arguably the most important part.

I have to ask what you were smoking in 2008. Or 2016. Or 2020. Or the 70s. Or the great depression. Or numerous other collapses.

We were not saved. The capitalists did not save us. They saved each other, while leaving us holding the bag. The economy has never fully recovered from ANY of these crashes. The common person comes out of market crashes worse off, if not completely bankrupt.

To say they saved us from collapse is not just ignorant, it’s a flat out lie. The crashes happened, and were devastating to the entire working class. People lost their jobs, their pensions, their HOMES, and you call this being SAVED?

As for the people, as with many things, it takes time for the effects of goodwill to rollout.

What goodwill? When has it ever rolled out? This is just rephrased trickle down economics. What’s good for the goose is not good for the gander.
