  • The gunplay is nothing like a modern FPS. Hitting your targets depends on your character’s stats, and is only somewhat related to where you aim the cursor. You can aim right at something, but if your skills are low, the bullets will curve and miss, and the inverse is true too - with high skill, your bullets aimed off-target will curve to hit.

There’s no sprinting - your movement speed is locked to ‘mosey’.

It crashes a lot, and some saves crash immediately when loaded, so you need to save often across a variety of different save files to avoid losing too much progress.

  • and that’s why they say piracy is a service issue

if the game you purchase can’t be played without an internet connection, either always online or a once-in-a-while check in, but the game you pirate can always be played regardless of the status of your internet connection . . . one of those is clearly the better service

for example, if my internet connection is up, I’ll play an MMO. when it goes out, I’d like to play Skyrim, but oops, I haven’t loaded the game in the last 30 days and now it wants to check in with the Steam server . . . but it can’t because the internet is out. so i never get to play the game i bought - what good did it do me to purchase a legit version of Skyrim?

  • If you see someone merging you can temporarily switch to the middle lane to overtake them

That’s illegal in USA. People do it anyway, but if there’s a crash and blame needs to be assigned, then the law says you’re supposed to keep driving at the same speed, not change lanes, and leave it entirely up to the driver attempting to merge to regulate their speed so they can merge safely.

Does the billionaire that steals the excess production of the working class do so out of necessity?

Does the cop who steals cash from motorists and lies about smelling drugs do so because that cop is underprivileged and disenfranchised by the system?

Not all humans have working moral compasses. Its an unpleasant reality that can be hard for some people to come to grips with and integrate into their worldview, but failure to understand a problem is unlikely to lead to effective solutions.
