Seems like most instances have a lot of powermodding going on, ironically controlled by the same users, exactly the same problem as Reddit but this time worse since they can ban your whole account, lol.

    Hey there @goat,

If you go back to the main site, on the sidebar are our rules. As with all communities they may have their own rules in the sidebar. While I hope that answers your question, here’s a screenshot of the rules as well:

    Reddthat Rules

With our rules, it boils down to “remember that we are all humans, don’t be overtly aggressive towards anyone, and try and share ideas, thoughts and criticisms in a constructive way”

Lemmy provides the Moderation Log, (which is at the bottom of the sidebar on ever community) is viewable by everyone, even without logging in. Modlog

    Cheers,

    Tiff

Ninja Edit: The Modlog shows all moderation actions that are federated as well. These are not items we’ve taken but as we federate against them, I believe all moderation actions are synced. As this allows for ban’s on 1 account to be replicated across the whole fediverse.

An example would be; if we banned a user from one of our communities who’s account was not a reddthat account. That would only block that user from accessing our instance. They could still interact with all other instances, unless I am mistaken.
