Voting for the lesser evil allows us opportunity to make real change at the community level. You don’t think leftist organizing is going to be easier with fascist in charge do you? (And yours is an honest question and you are organizing right? You’re not just spreading doom and making things worse?) You don’t think leftist organizing is going to be more successful with fascists in charge do you? Because while it might be true, this is called “accelerationism”, which is an extremely risky position.
Those willing to risk the lives of minorities to make a point often appear to others with a more rational position to be privileged.
Because bipartisan is about voting for the lesser evil to ruin your life. Being complacent just relinquishes to an assurance it will be the shittiest because the bigger voting population are looking for the easiest way to fuck you up. Voting is that easy way for them.
