    …Damn, thats making me feel like I finally need to try it.

    Ive been here 4 years and still haven’t mustered up the courage(not really a take-a-shot guy myself). I see the chicago handshake all over the city too, maybe next time I’m out and craving an old style I’ll check it off the list.

      It tastes like gasoline, but it surprisingly has some value in cocktails. “The Alderman” cocktail bar in Pilsen does a fascinating “grapefruit” cocktail that doesn’t have grapefruit, but rather uses malort to replicate the grapefruit bitterness.

      Do it. It’s one of those things that’s unpleasant but you get to bond with everyone else who’s done it and it’s over quick
