I wrote out a big thing about it but accidentally pressed cancel before sending it angery

But basically it’s because it’s the trans colours (baby blue body, white underbelly and pink mouth), having cuddly toys is seen as traditionally girly and so AMAB trans people see having it as a rejection of the masculinity they’ve had enforced on them, and also because many queer people face an increased risk of rejection from family and friends so it’s frequently common for them to get a cuddly toy to comfort them (for similar reasons, a lot of queer people are heavy drinkers and so liquor companies do a lot of pro LGBT advertising to avoid alienating one of their core demographics)

Woah that’s a roller coaster. Your post started off happy ‘Ohhh goodie. Finally the meaning of the shark!’ Rolling into ‘Oo i like cuddles but yes there is no one here to cuddle. I should get a shark’. Ending on ‘Oh ohhhh’ then i look down at my beer. :/

No worries, it was just kinda like ‘oo this post relates all too well’ sort of thing. It’s been a rough year with a few rocky points but the drinking and smoking are much lesser and manageable now.

Glad to hear you got through it too :)
