if you’re posting to lemmy, everyone knows you are a lemmy user, and obviously only lemmy users will see it. To say “fellow lemmings”, or “as a lemming” is completely redundant, unless of course you’re using it on another site in which case people will have no idea what you’re talking about.
It helps with posts a bit. Being able to say “fellow lemmings…” or “as a lemming…” I wouldn’t use it in real life though.
