I am a little curious about the graduate program for Georgia Tech - I’ll probably not make it because of my average grades, but I am also looking at other potential local colleges. Also, it happens to be the same place where a few of my relatives live. From what I know, it was a red state thay turned blue recently.

What about the cost of living and job prospects for a B.Engg grad? I don’t have any money on me, so I am planning to take a loan. Is the program harder that your typical local college? Do they tolerate a three-year gap? What about the relative placement quality from your personal experience? Or should I look for universities in Europe?

I am not really looking for all the questions to be answered, but a few of them would help me a lot.

I also don’t know what your plans are after graduate school. In the US, trying to get a job as an international engineering student is very, very difficult right now.

So the situation is terrible everywhere? I can’t help but feel dejected…
