Declaring recognition of statehood has all sorts of legal implications, it may take a bit to finish settling those now that they’ve actually decided to do it, and then most likely the decision will be formal/final in July.
This is huge! I know it’s just a step to ending the genicide but I’ll take anything at this point.

There are “Palestinian territories” but no functioning state matching eg the definition of statehood declared in the 1933 Montevideo Convention.
