Hm, phablet, haven’t heard that word in a while. Smartphones killed tablets and that word in the process

Manufacturers killed that word so no one can make fun of it. 🤣🤦‍♂️

I remember when my 4.8 inch phone was considered a phablet. But it was no bigger than my 6.7 inch phone is now, just bigger bezels.

Just need a 7 inch phone now so it’s bigger than my first tablet.

To be fair to modern phones, they have a taller aspect ratio, a 7" 20:9 phone has a smaller surface area than a 7" 16:9 tablet

Curious, what phone are you using? I only see phones 6.4inch and larger. There are hardly any small phones left in the market.

Right now, an Asus Zenfone 8. Been using it for a year and a half. Before that, a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact which I used for almost 5 years. 😅

Interesting. I guess a few more years. After that sony. Because Zenfone may or may not launch a compact phone again.

Hopefully they’ll continue selling “compact” phones. Heck, I’m guessing there will be people who will be happy if Asus releases a compact phone every alternate year.

I said that because Zenfone launched the 11 ultra. It may or may not launch the regular 11.

Yes, they may or may not launch the normal version. Then again, it’s only April. One can still hope. 👍

ZenFone 10 is the last “small” phone I can remember. Sad to see them drop the smaller size with the 11.
