Not sure that’s the worst use of electricity ever. My smart TV is locked up trying to download something it isn’t capable of downloading. My computer won’t run Yahoo because it’s downloaded too many ads and can’t work anymore. My smart phone can’t send or receive texts, photos, or phone calls, and my ipad can’t run anything of any kind, including apps.
Maybe the Dark Ages had something going for it after all.
There’s something about me and technology that interfere with each other. I’ve had people tell me they’ve never seen the kinds of problems I’ve had with computers (IT techs for example). One technician told me he didn’t think it was possible to do what I’d somehow done with my computer and really all I did was stand next to it on day one. That’s all it takes.
Same with my TV - if I am out of the room it works fine. And it isn’t an antenna problem because I’m on cable - but if I get close to the tV, it shuts down or I get weird images that look like smoke trails across it. I just seem to naturally antagonize electrical stuff.
