If you haven’t started yet, I highly recommend playing at a high difficulty.

The first few battles will be tough, but it becomes far easier. Playing on anything under Death March means you can cruise through the game without needing to interact with most of the games mechanics.

Playing on Death March forces you to utilise all of the preparation mechanics, and learning which combinations of potions are best.

Quen is invaluable on Death March. Remember to take your time and enjoy the game, don’t rush it.

Thanks for the advice. Having only played to the point of defeating the first griffin, I am still learning the controls etc. It seems like there are a lot more granular controls that would be available on a keyboard vs. my default setup on the Steam Deck.

If memory serves correct there are two primary control schemes, the one which the game first released with, and a streamlined one.

          I can’t remember which I preferred.

Or I might be thinking of a different game lol.
