Been trying to add !politics@beehaw.org and have tried to be patient, but it’s still not showing up for me. Also having issues getting to some over at sh.itjust.works.

    Hi again! Wanted to confirm if we can federate with kbin instances. I’ve been trying to add random@fedia.io for a while. Am I just being impatient again or is there an incompatibility?

      Hmmmm, I think it is possible, because we both speak “activitypub”. I tried to view https://fedia.io/c/random and the page is blank. It’s probably their end and their instance crashing.

      Check the sidebar for links to the Lemmy.ml support community, and have a search on that one. Someone surely has answered if kbin and Lemmy can talk to each other

        On the “Linked Instances” page for reddthat, it shows up, so I think it *should *work and may just being hugged to death. Confirmed it works on lemmy.ml, though they may have federated the community when fedia was working better. Might be worth checking the logs, but not a big deal, thanks Tiff!
