Maybe I’m wrong to assume that you refer to this plant as Echeveria as well (just like the other one sentenced todrowning by your supermarket) just want to mention this looks a Sempervivum to me. A rather pretty one too!
Last years I always had some around in pots, but this year is special in the sense some of them grew neat columns of themselves, others grew a bunch of children in ropes (latter one was the S. Arachnoideum type). It was quite a nice surprise for me.
