Anyone know much about electronics?
I have an NTC probe that reads 9K @ 0C and I want to add a mechanical offset as the controller does not have this functionality.
If I throw a 32K resistance in parallel I should get my +5C offset at 0C which is perfect.
BUT… I’m feeling a little greedy and I’d like to trim it a little each way, and I reckon between 25K and 50K would be a perfect amount. If I throw a 50K potentiometer in there, it’s variable between 0 and 50,000 which is not ideal. Is there such a thing as a potentiometer or similar that provides between 25K and 50K resistance?
I love the initial dive in to a cold bed. Then you create your warm little cacoon and get all snug and its so nice to sleep in. And then the alarm goes off and its work again :(
You’re going to have to throw down a few more facts. Preferably with proof of some kind, not just unhinged rambling.
> caring about downvotes
mfw when 🥱
Is it expensive? I’ve only ridden them for fun so don’t actually know what it would cost for a genuine commute.
Should have taken a scooter! Fun, and practical.
One of the dogs has worked out how to open the baby gate in to the bedroom. So we were spoken up by dogs.
Not a terrible way to wake up I guess.
FriYAY, amiright?
Going to a magic show this weekend, and steak at one of the fancy joints in the city.
Both will make money mysteriously disappear from my wallet.
It seems like if what you’re saying is true, you could easily just reference something that explains it.
I still have no idea what this design is you’re talking about.
Any chance of some facts or references in that word spaghetti?
This whole nuclear thing has really bummed me out. It reminds me so much of the NBN.
Labor has a factually, technically, objectively better plan in motion and along come the Liberals with a plan that’s worse by every possible metric, and that every person with any sort of technical knowledge confirms is a terrible idea… yet with the aid of some questionable media, they somehow manage to push their message out to the populous and end up winning the next election based on feels?
Why do Australians consistently opt for the shit option?
We just installed some sweet security cameras at work. Got a panoramic one at the top of the shed which does 180° using two cameras and it’s pretty sweet. Tried downloading a 12 hour clip to make a time-lapse and it’s 48GB 🙃
Then they have the hide to bang on about the free market.
It’s grotesque.
Sounds like the start of some delicious sublamington drama
Maybe I’ve watched too many movies, but 10 years of bank robberies for only 350k or so of gains seems like a pretty rubbish risk versus reward
Tuesday traffic is always the suck. Weird that Mondays tend to be okay, Fridays are amazing… But Tuesday traffic is without fail a complete clusterfuck.
Someone with a higher level of psychology training needs to explain why this is.
I pay for non popular things - bands that aren’t well known, YouTube creators who haven’t started doing those stupid “MUNDANE TASK 😱 GOES WRONG!” thumbnails yet, games or software that are free to download but hey maybe some money would be cool if you could, independent news and radio, etc.
Once something is popular I’ll just thieve it. Artists are creators deserve to get paid for their work, but once they start getting paid dozens of times over for no extra effort it’s hard to feel too bad about borrowing a free copy.
Went to the aquarium yesterday, and saw this dickhead:
Back in BNE, just in time for the working week. Boo :-(
Never mind, I’m a dickhead… I can just stack a fixed resistor and a potentiometer in series
