It’s the palm trees. They’ll fool ya.
It’s the palm trees. They’ll fool ya.
I have a pocket-sized solar panel I bought intending to charge my phone on the go. When it arrived and I tried it out I remembered that I live in bloody Auckland, New Zealand, where we’ve never actually seen the sun, so that was a bust.
How long did you think about it?
I tried durian pancakes at an Asian market once, and didn’t see what all the fuss was about. It tasted kinda coconut-y and onion-y, but not enough to be a big deal.
Ten minutes later I burped and realised I had made a terrible mistaking eating those things.
Marmite itself is fine. If anyone ever offers you the chance to try Marmite-flavoured anything, give it a pass. It just doesn’t work.
It’s starting to seem a little like some of the people making beer have never tried one.
A follow-up question: can I gain this ability by identifying one of those people and eating their brain?
I’d like to add The Long Hallowe’en. That was some good storytelling.
I’d be more likely to listen to AC/DC without Brian Johnson. He hasn’t done anything wrong (that I know of) and he’s a talented vocalist, but that rasping voice of his makes me wince every time I hear it. Does he gargle glass shards?
That’s not a tantrum, that’s your fingertips thinking “hmmm, we’ve been wet for a while… I’d better increase my surface area for better grip so I can execute a sweet hip throw on the next attacker I encounter.” Your body wants to develop its innate kung fu potential!
Looks like that link doesn’t go external. It might need to be edited.
Sounds like an interesting project. Can you give us more detail? What are the new races? What effect does the karma mechanic have? Will dungeon delving be your game loop?
I had a boss who used to say the same thing. He was telling us “We didn’t set this dumpster on fire, but somehow it’s our job to handle it. No point bitching, so roll your sleeves up and get to it.” I’ve started saying the same thing for the same reason.
I keep reading articles about quantum physics in the hope that some day I’ll spot some kind of pattern that turns out to be the key to understanding it. No luck yet.
I’ve never read FATAL, but I’ve read plenty about it. And I’m glad it exists, because it makes every other RPG better just by virtue of not being FATAL.
It’s less about the splash and more about the microscopic sprays of faecal bacteria. You don’t want that E. Coli on your toothbrush.
I can see why. I’m sure even a minor pothole becomes a major problem when you’re travelling at record-breaking speed.
Once more, in english?
