Explain yourself!
Explain yourself!
Been saying this for years! I think when Mark did the video with the huge air horn is when I caught on and stopped watching the Mormon crew. Weirded me out
From them of course! :D
There are parts of your sleep that you’re basically unconscious and nearly impossible to wake.
The dreams could be a whole life being uploaded to your brain, hence the weirdness, until it’s initialized and you wake up.
Hey aren’t you that knife nerd?!
There kinda isn’t really any definitive science that indicates a specific frame rate that the eye can perceive.
There are studies however that show ranges from 30 to 90hz, and studies that show that human perception can detect flicker at up to 500hz even.
The issue is that nothing that happens in the real world is synchronized with what you perceive. So filling in with more Hz means there are more chance for you to actually perceive the thing.
To complicate matters further, our brains do a lot of filling in for us, and our eyes and brains can still perceive things you aren’t consciously perceiving yourself. So again more frames is always nice.

My wife and I call ourselves scientits :)

:D
I see this and worse daily here and I rarely drive.
I’ve seen this exact scenario but the “polite” person is in a normal lane, not a turning lane. I hate drivers here.
Looks fun. Always feels like they never let the Jedi really flex, and this might be it. You only ever see the Jedi really go in other media like games, comics, and the animated things.
It was fun seeing Vader do his thing in Obi Wan. I hope Disney is learning as they go and don’t just cancel shows. Andor was brilliant so there is no reason the rest of the shows can’t get there too
I’m honestly kind of confused. Elementary school arrests are very high, but in my mind I just assumed they were zero… Why wouldn’t they be zero?! These are little children. I’m honestly curious what extreme circumstances could lead to needing to arrest a child?
I’m Canadian, and I remember fights in elementary, and even some combative kids fighting teachers or the principle trying to break them up. I don’t recall a single police officer ever being called.
Maybe I’m just naive, but I’m legitimately baffled by this.
I guess I should look into where my nearest store is.
Thanks
So true. All 3 of those are great examples too. I can barely pick out a song from any of them, but you won’t need to lol.
I’m even more mad when it’s a single song from 1 artist that is just different from their usual. Nothing else they do is similar and you’ll never get more hahah. It makes the song special but still.
Dora Jar - Did I Get It Wrong, comes to mind.
Starting Rogue Trader this week. Having fun with it.
The conversion rate isn’t great.
There were talks of using them in sidewalks, but it doesn’t really make much sense really. Piezo almost always only works as energy recovery, which isn’t nothing but you will need the infrastructure which also isn’t nothing.
Wildlife biologist here, and I have to concur with just about all of this.
I think we generally look at a viruses and consider them alive but just barely. While prions are not because they (proteins) are what is considered one of the building blocks for life. Self replication being one of the major criteria we’d look for. We look at a very macro level of life but our education and work has a strong overlap down here a well.
This is such a well written post! Gets the point id like to make across in a much better way than I could
