9 months agoThey are literally being used to ride the tour de france. What made cube great was that their sub €1000 bikes were not trash and quite durable component wise. 10 years ago they offered quality aluminium MTB’s with front suspension and shimano groupsets for €700. Now most premium brands offer quality entry level bikes though. I own 2 cube bikes and they have been going strong for 9 and 5 years with proper home care and one dealer service each year
I drove a 1000k to the french alps just before the covid thing got traction. We do 4 restroom stops. I was always virtually alone washing my hands. The day we returned the ski resorts closed and lockdown was imminent. Now there was a wait to wash your hands. You had people screaming for soap and washing for 5 minutes straight up to their armpits. I just drove past the same restroom stops again. I was alone in washing my hands again. People are stupid.
