The Kid is such a good song. That entire album would definitely be on my “albums to choose to have on a deserted island” short list.
As much as I like Lucero, I really need Ben Nichols to drop more shit like The Last Pale Light In The West.

Tell that to my cocaine.
Yeah bro, keep writing code, it keeps the security people like me employed. Also I’m pretty sure you might be on meth.
Is this sovcit shit or someone who plagued by paranoid delusions and off their meds? This seems heavy on the delusions and light on the sovcit ridiculousness.
I think this is just semantics at this point, but to me there is a difference between “deleted” and “erased”. I see deleted as the typical “moved to trash” or rm
action, with erased being overwritten bits, or like microwaving a drive.
Edit - If i remember correctly deleting something in most OS’s/File Systems just deletes the pointer to that file on disk. The data just hangs out until new data is written to that sector. The solution, other than the one you mentioned about encrypting stored data and destroying the key when you want the data “deleted”, would be to only ever store data in volatile memory. That would make for a horrendous user experience though.
I’ve started seeing people, who really should know better, referring to the PC tower as the CPU. As in, “I bought a bracket that mounts to my variable height desk which can hold my CPU up off the floor and let it move with my desk”.
Bro I’m looking at a picture of a custom water cooled PC here, you should know the fucking difference between a CPU and a computer case.
Maybe name it standing_negated_sitting_flag
? I really have no idea though.
China pulling their inspiration from Drake I see.
Edit - After finally getting a break at work and reading the article, I see that China is just ceasing their reporting to the Top500 list, not bowing out of the supercomputer race entirely.
I would think that the guy with the plates made the choice to wear those shoes, he obviously has access to better kit. I don’t know why he would be wearing regular ass shoes though. Maybe he’s not really leaving the main trench system, wanted the plates just in case, but is mainly chilling in his cp with those shoes for the comfy factor, and to let his feet breathe? Also quite possible that russian boots suck dick and chafe and cause blisters and shit, so he just said fuck it.
When I was in the sandbox most people wore their own self-purchased footwear, but they were still combat boots that met the uniform order requirements. Any time we were inside the wire I was trying to wear my running shoes instead of boots whenever possible, but fuck me if I’d go outside the wire without boots. I mean I wouldn’t have ever been allowed, it wasn’t even anything I considered as even remotely possible. Like laws of physics level of immutable.
Looking at the videos of these trenches, I wouldn’t be caught dead walking in them in regular shoes either. Stepping on a nail is problematic in your backyard, doing so in a trench like this, and with whatever passes for a Corpsman in the russian military, runs a fair risk of leading to amputation.
It’s pretty instant. I have all my monitors running through it, but I can test when I get off work tomorrow.
I use a Level1Techs KVM, I’m pretty sure it meets all your requirements. I’ve used multiple brands of mechanical keyboards with it and never had a ghosting/sticky key issue.
Yeah, I use SysInternals stuff every day. Neither myself nor the community has vetted SysInternals tools any more than they have vetted outlook, teams, or word. Unless I’m misunderstanding the meaning of vetted.
Vetting in a program/application context as I understand it is that the code has been vetted, which can only be done by the community at large if the source code is provided. Just like with a person, vetting is doing an actual background check, where as vouching for someone is just one person telling a second person that a third person is chill or something.
To level set, Microsoft owns SysInternals, and has since 2006. None of it is “community vetted”, to me that implies FOSS or something.
All my heroin friends have/had tablets in my state prison system. County jails here blow dick and don’t have anything like that, but even the normal people prisons do. The future is now old man or something.
Once again, numerous solutions for singe-use email addresses exist.
They should go super meta with it and crush Apple products in an ad for AppleCare.
I’m about to block this community for a week or something, then resubscribe.
I mean I’m kidding, but I’ve seen more shit about this ad that I’ve never seen over the past three days than any actual ads of any type.
Bro, Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in 2007 by force of arms aimed at fellow Palestinians. It’s not just the west either, Hamas was born out of the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1980s, which has been designated as a terrorist organization by multiple countries including Eygpt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Putting aside everything that’s happened since October of last year, Hamas is made up of some really shitty, evil people. Their founding principles aren’t just freedom from Israel, the destruction of Israel, or even the killing of all Israelis. One of their missions, since the organization was founded in the 1980s, is to kill all Jews worldwide. Surely we can agree on that not being an organization worth our support.
I can support Palestines without supporting Hamas just like I can support Jews without supporting the Israeli state.
I live in neither of these cities, but still in a city on a public street. On multiple occasions I’ve moved a cone to park, seen someone come out of the cone owners house, just locked eyes as I walked into my house with their cone, and taken that shit out to the garbage truck in the alley on trash day. It’s probably been 15 cones over about 10 years of living in this house. It’s typically renters, once it was an AirBnB renter next door, which completely boggled my mind. Who the fuck travels with a traffic cone like what the fuck?
