  • People with a long-going abundance of money lacking brainjuice can rarely imagine the way to spend them, and they want the most exclusive and unavailable thing there is. For some reason it’s a trend within their circles that pedophilia is Sex 2.0 exclusive to elites, and nothing in their head rings an alarm, or just a bullshit detector. Besides obvious anger about what they do, why do they choose that of all things? There’s so much more gated behind the paywall that they can get, like extreme(ly expensive) sports, property design and management, investing into start ups and following them, top tier education and getting acclaimed in scientifical\professional fields, traveling to a new place every other week or just riding in an MBT for groceries shopping. Is there some street cred coming with that or what? It’s just stupid.

  • I specified when it’s not placebo and is real. Even in that rare case it wasn’t aligning chackras or whatever but served as a surprise remedy to return normal blood circulation. Was it that timely or maybe doctors were too amputation-happy? Either way, not that much mystery, more luck.

Placebo comes when there are claims it treats what’s out of it’s reach, like cancer, or improves overall quality of life in some mystical way. The worst offence there is cases where patients refuse medications and therapy because they get in a great mood and have some pain relief after a session, like with many other semi-pseudoscientifical treatments. Otherwise it’s a nice kind of a physical therapy.

  • It’s when you start to add spiritual significance and meaning to it accupuncture becomes bonkers. Otherwise it’s a specific form of a massage that lets one single out and affect specific muscles. Therefore a knowledgeable person can make wonders by applying it correctly. As a bonus: the whole experience of laying like a hedgehog.

  • Congratulations. My experience is pretty close to yours. Besides some software and shortcuts I miss from windows, it just works, and in these little moments I need help, there probably a dozen of threads with suggested solutions.

Be aware of Time Shift though. A part of new users report it taking all free space on the drive and crippling system, if used on ext3-4 file system + saving back ups to the system drive + having things like flatpack or TS’s own folders not excluded. It happened to me and a lot of others, as I’ve encountered this question multiple times on the web, so keep an eye on it. You can actually open any save point as a folder from TS’s interface and see if it saves what it shouldn’t.
