Looking for Alaska tore me up.
Looking for Alaska tore me up.
If Tesla was just a little bit smarter, they would offer rental companies a software update that would reduce that instant torque just a little bit. It would be trivially easy to do so. Might even improve their somewhat shitty reputation, too.
It wasn’t his “friends” paying him off, it was (is) rich bastards buying influence. He’s a star grifter, probably being trained by the sleazy orange cheeto himself. Trailer trash, every single one of them.
Sounds nice. Was the ice cream social being run by insane brain damaged Jesus freaks that are bent on influencing how kids see the world, to their narrow, hate mongering way of thinking?
Obviously the “spoiler” tag referred to transparent aluminum.

Library. I had a librarian tell me when I was about ten that making one copy is considered “fair use”, I’ve been sticking to that idea for a long time.

What’s that big blob of white stuff in the middle?
Agreed. I loved that book when I was younger. Still do I guess.
I think that guy behind me (points with thumb) said he hoped he could score some tickets on the way in.
Never had it, never will. The un-meta nut.
And as an added bonus, you get about three days worth of salt in that one hot dog.
At the Walmart, I am careful to leave them in the center of the parking spot designated for our law enforcement partners. I’m sure our law enforcement partners find this kindness to be convenient, and time saving for them.
Nobody names their kid Pontius any more, have you observed that?
Do you not have the belief that you should watch every bit of canon Star Trek that’s available, no matter what? I do. It doesn’t take much time. Now that Picard 3 is out, I’m going to do a fast rewatch of all three seasons and see if I can understand it better, because I sure as hell didn’t the first time through S1 & 2.
Are all the Waffle House places considered diners? Should they be? I think so, on both questions.
Certainly not prefab.
I meant something that looked nice. The hardware, surface conditioning, and paint job is not a trivial expense, after the lumber is bought, cut, and assembled.
A cheap cheap version could be made out of furnace plenum duct metal. Or cardboard. Actually I’d prefer to be rolled up in a piece of old carpet torn out during remodeling.
Hey, when you hit 65, that’s the way it is!
$200? Jeez.
I got a $32 11" Dell Chromebook last month to use as a video player at work, it’s great. Stuck in a 128GB microSD and it’s better than fine.
And I can listen to the baseball game on it, when I’m not watching Star Trek. 😁
