Looks like the Star Wars and Marvel Disney+ shows are selling well. Hopefully this will convince the higher-ups at Disney/Sony to release more of their streaming-only content on disc!

This isn’t necessarily a good thing. 4K is growing at the expense of Blu-ray, while DVD is only getting more popular.
If you didn’t like Part 1, you definitely won’t like Part 2. Hopefully Part 3 can wrap thing up for a satisfying conclusion.

Clark Kent is just a kid from Kansas trying to do the right thing…who just happens to have superpowers. People like Superman for the ideals that he represents. He’s a champion of the oppressed, represents truth, justice, and a better tomorrow, and he’s a friend.
You know, I was never a huge fan of Star Wars, but when I heard about George Lucas’s petty efforts to keep modifying the original theatrical version of Star Wars, I downloaded 4K77 and Harmy’s Despecialized Edition out of pure spite.
Last week, @Eheran@lemmy.world asked about the top selling DVDs. I tried looking, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like they report the numbers for DVDs. The closest I found was the Top Disc Sales, which is the combined sales of DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD. Perhaps that would be a better metric?
Out of the 5 movies on this list, The Flash was the one I enjoyed the most (I didn’t see Dial of Destiny or Haunted Mansion).
