Eskating cyclist, gamer and enjoyer of anime. Probably an artist. Also I code sometimes, pretty much just to mod titanfall 2 tho.
Introverted, yet I enjoy discussion to a fault.
Are you on a really old version?
You can block communities, users, and instances.
Blocking can be managed in account settings.
You can also block things from the feed by long tapping posts, or users by long tapping comments. Users in user actions, communities in community actions, and you guessed it, instances in instance actions.
Yes. Thank you. I won’t starve, only my kids will. Whew, dodged that one.
It’s not just a loss of investment for me, I can’t handle how mad his behaviour makes me on behalf of all the characters I did like.
I wouldn’t want the new Touma around at all! For me it’s like trying to enjoy a movie while some ass keeps kicking my seat. Except it’s the fucking author behind the story. It’s not enough that the stuff I liked is still there 😭
I’m sure I can find some if I look here too.
I’m curious about what people eat together with them, because to me salty+savory snacks go with sweet+sour soda.
Do people in these countries go sweet+sweet, or is there more to this?
The irony is that pre-amnesia Touma was likeable. A really endearing goof.
Post-amnesia Touma is literally just an asshole. He’s bullshitting his way through every word he speaks. That makes him a completely different character.
A really, really punchable one. Whatever relationships he manages to form after that point are hollow and undeserved. Built on a foundation this Touma didn’t lay down, and lied about by omission.
gaah I could rant about it endlessly, I wish it had been a couple episode gimmick so bad
Huh. TIL.
To me popcorn goes in the same category as potato chips, salty. Always salty. But apparently it lands with candy for a part of the world? I had no idea.
Do you sweet popcorn people get some other salty snack? Or are all your movie snacks sugary?
To me the ultimate combo is salty popcorn (maybe even buttery) and a sweet drink.
Is the fork included or do you need to bring your own?
Wait is this !morphmoe@ani.social?
Well if you link it, you will “gain the right to appeal a ban”.
(This is not a joke it’s in the actual announcement from sony)
Ah, lastly, there are also the five artbooks self-published by Ryoko Kui, titled “Daydream Hour” vol. 1-5. I’ve posted the occasional page from these, too, but they also contain art unrelated to Dungeon Meshi.
They can be found on the internet archive.
That’s all the “bonus content” I know of.
Wait. So you’re saying the only appeal of the device, is the hardware?
200 bucks of what’s reportedly exactly as cheap-feeling as the price suggests?
“Alright dev studios, your assignment is to bake a cake. Core feature: it must be possible to eat the cake, and then still have the cake”
Arrowhead: wtf
sens-OR
I can hear that.
“formatting and typo”
Yes.
The manga comes with a bunch of bonus pages outside the actual chapters, like the Monster Tidbits.
Then there is also the “World Guide” which is a separate book. It contains the character sheets I’ve been posting.
Maaan. I really liked the raildex characters and world…
But I couldn’t get over post-amnesia Touma. You can’t just have characters build genuine connections and then erase it for no reason.
I had to look up whether it was just a “bad phase” of the story. But no, apparently it’s permanent, and as far as I could tell nothing interesting is done with it.
And having the main character just pretending to know people he’s supposed to care about is just… Nauseating. It’s such an extreme level of disingenuousness it actually makes me mad. It felt like every time Touma opened his mouth to speak, the author was spitting in the face of the other characters. Characters that I liked.
He should just tell them. They deserve to know that the Touma they knew is effectively dead, and will stay dead. I cared about those characters, it made me furious to see them betrayed.
The idea of having that underpinning the entirety of the remainder of the series, is so far beyond a deal breaker, it’s hilarious.
I lost all interest. It was such a pointless amateur writing contrivance it affected how I viewed everything by Kamachi. It ruined the characters I did like. I see art of Misaka and Index and the only part I can appreciate anymore is the technical ability of the artist.
I can’t look at anything raildex related without getting worked up about it again. The fact that I can only get so mad because these characters were genuinely appealing to me, just makes me even more mad!
…
Uuh I mean cute frog.
Looks like we all got it a little wrong.
Emergency meeting!
A marcille just said she’d be okay with monster food!
Marcille was put away in a cage.
Community blocking is a Lemmy native feature. It does not require client side workarounds.
Further, all blocking functionality (including viewing your blocklist and unblocking) is fully implemented in Thunder, making OPs question a little confusing.
