Can’t help but wonder if any dogs were actually thrown off the bridge by some sick person. Especially as the bridge gets more well known.

The idea of dogs staring at something unseen and then suddenly suiciding is freaky though. I could definitely see this being incorporated somehow into a horror story.

I’m not surprised. There’s all kinds of fucked up backstories like this once you start digging. There are very unhinged people out there who get warnings, get put on admin leave, maybe transferred. Very difficult to fire if local govt and unions are involved. And you bet your ass they protect each other because that means selfishly protecting themselves and the entire department.

I don’t know about actual sun protection but I pretty much exclusively buy Asian (namely Japanese) sunscreens because I prefer the thin consistency. They’re not greasy, perfect for daily wear, affordable and easy to buy off of Amazon.

That being said… I’d still go with the heavy duty American or Australian sunscreens during all day in the sun, full exposure type of activities. Haven’t tried EU ones, but they’re probably a nice compromise.

Well that makes sense now. I had a feeling my allergies have been particularly bad over the last few days, even while indoors. I’ve been having to take Claritin when usually I just power through.

I have the Shokz OpenRun Pro. Well worth the money, no complaints. I wear them all the time at work (hazard issue to have in-ear earbuds). There’s a pause button on the side when I’m trying to give somebody my full attention, or I’ll just take them off and wear it around my neck. Lasts through a 16 hr shift.

You say it was a telephoto lens, but it looks way too good for shooting directly into the sun. The colors would be way more muted and that level of contrast can’t be brought back in post. Also if you were shooting with a telephoto lens you had to be VERY far away to get that field of view. Shooting from that far away with a telephoto lens would not look that crisp. There would be haze from shooting such a far distance.

Looks like a miniature model town. Or just AI. When you zoom in, there are several roofs that are solid, no detail. And the trees look fake too. The leaves and fronds or whatever have no fine detail. And when you look at the houses farther back – where are the access roads?

Yeah I’m listening to Brutalism right now. Great energy, love the angry attitude. Was just reading they toured for 8 years before releasing the debut album. Definitely put in their time!
