To sync it with my phone, periodically I copy the password store database to my phone.

And now, that cracked my egg and understand now that I’m enby, I feel liberated. But also I feel some afraid, but also hope, about the future.

You can run a private instance of GitLab without issues. Also, there is more OpenSource and free git repository services beyond GitHub and Gitlab, that you can install and run locally in a small server.
