  • Lemmy really gives reddit for boomers with these made up rage bait posts like this.

Gets straight to the top and everyone is saying they wish they could be this guy because they don’t care about modern issues and want to go “back to the good ol days”. Rage bait didn’t even get rage, just people creaming over the idea of not thinking about global issues and trans rights.

  • I feel like I didn’t understand almost any of it as a teenager, more as an adult, and then a LOT more when I watched it with someone who had familiarity with Christianity?? It has some weird religious mythos to it that I didn’t know at all so that was really cool to have my eyes opened to that. But I think it’s also pretty open ended so it can mean different things to people.

  • Using PGD they can choose a baby’s sex but it’s really expensive. Though if someone is shelling out for a surrogate already is gonna be loaded.

What’s funny is it’s typically used by people who have very binary and old fashioned views on gender, aka conservatives. The people who think like this comic. They want both so dad can teach the boy how to play football and a girl for mom to dress up her little princess!

I watched interviews of people who had done this and that’s literally how they described it. I don’t think there’s refunds if their kid turns out trans lol

  • I just don’t believe this. This is so untrue.

If a bunch of people become stranded on an island it doesn’t become lord of the flies turns out. Human nature is to help one another because what is good for the tribe is good for you.

We know this because it has happened, there are documentaries about it, and those are circumstances where there are actually limited resources. Currently there may as well be unlimited resources because there aren’t enough resources for one person to completely consume. I think it is perfectly unnatural the way the rich in particular act, and I believe it is under our current system in particular that drives people to act that way.
