Y’all have any more of that podcast?
Y’all have any more of that podcast?
Love my plushie, haven’t played but maybe 3-4 hours since acquiring it a decade ago, still have the plushie though.
Man, I was taught “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” but you’re burying it by it’s genre, I hope you can experience new things once in a while .
Enjoy being nobody’s high point.
You probably work at a call center.
I’ve walked out of 5 casinos with more than I walked in with, I’ve shown many people, none of them will deny it’s effectiveness.
You aren’t walking away with life changing money, but I’ve never once lost money at a casino, nor have any of my friends who go with me.
But much like this thread, it’s easier to doubt.
I would argue elden ring (haven’t played, not my style but heard many good things about it) and bg3 are not AAA studios, they don’t release high budget games frequently, they focus on one genre, and don’t have much (especially large budget titles) outside of that area of focus.
That list is also staggeringly small compared to The list it’s derived from, and I would say whatever list includes those games has a much larger “awful titles” section to go along with it. If anything I would say the games you listed (that are from multi title developers) are the exceptions that proves the “don’t buy AAA titles” rule.
In this thread, people so excited to point at “the person using the word wrong” they haven’t considered that the Internet is really fucking Vegas up right now, and the thousands of wage slaves that find their honest lively-hood there.
Except I will justify this as enshittification because: online sports betting, gacha mobile games, and online slots have taken over for free entertainment, ridiculously cheap high quality food, and a tourism entertainment, because the prior is cheaper to maintain, quicker to deploy, and more easily accessible to the average user, and the latter required more upkeep, more American jobs, and wasn’t as obscenely profitable (somehow…)
So yes, this is a pretty text book example of the Internets enshittification of a market.
I’m interested to see how I’m just using this as “I want to bitch about something”, because I honestly disliked Vegas and have never been a big gambler (though every time I have, I’ve walked away with a profit, but I don’t think I’ll tell you my strategy, 100% guaranteed low stakes winnings, because your energy is too damn negative, and I don’t wish you any happiness in life, besides that I hope you have a wonderful Friday.)
How is this not the Enshittification of gambling?
What used to be a destination with entertainment and competition for your attention has become online sports betting, gatcha games targeting minors, and online casinos. This used to be a destination with attractions for every type of person (circus circus Even, for the kids!), that supported hundreds of thousands of workers. Now it’s sweat shop programmers and overseas tech support, goodbye Vegas.
Enshittification comes for Vegas. The money will still flow, you’ll just get less actual entertainment for it.
Stop
Buying
AAA
Games
Stop
And don’t confuse high budget indie studios with AAA game developers

Interesting, I’ve not had similar problems using my cast iron on induction, maybe there wasn’t enough current in your system, was it a counter top model or a built in?
Edit: And by “the thing” you meant your pans right?
I’m not for any religious discrimination.
They should all be worshipped privately and have no governmental supporting.
I was wondering if Alabama would somehow be the worst for a while, there’s always Mississippi
Glad you’re not on my well wishes list, I’d hate to think my weekly reminders that I’m thinking about, and appreciating, people in my life we’re taken as attempts to extract their resources.
It takes very little to try to offer happiness into someone’s life, and you never know when a random offering of positivity might be what someone was needing at that moment.
We’re all human. And even if this is copy and pasted I applaud that delivery driver making an effort to spread pleasantness.

Not trolling, genuinely couldn’t stand that movie, I feel it’s impossible to bring people around to the idea that it was a shit movie, and I don’t need people to feel the same way about it as me to validate my feelings, but I do support the message that it was trying to send (people will remain willfully ignorant) but it didn’t send that message in a way that made sense (from a pretty typical progressive). I barely made it through the first viewing, and I’m not giving it another chance.
But sure, I’m a troll, and a bad one at that.
For other things I troll about be sure to check out my review of “rampage”, oh wait, that was heartfelt and the person who took my recommendation ended up loving it (inexplicably, I cannot explain why it’s so damn… Rampage), and maybe reconsider that while my taste is different, it’s conveyed with honestly and sincerity. Don’t look up wasn’t funny, it wasn’t productive, and it wasn’t realistic portrayals of people in the slightest, and that combination entirely turned me off from the movie
But you can dismiss me as a bad troll and trot along with the rest of the sheep.
Going to let an unannounced games rumored genre ruin your day?
Gamers need to set a better image of themselves.
