11 days agoIf it’s really just a month I would definitely wait. I’m in an area with a low police presence and drive with privilege though so keep that in mind.

you can air fry seasoned chickpeas for a nice snack. Asparagus in a little olive oil is bangin. It does great on anything breaded and frozen, and you can cook bacon and a frozen burger patty at the same time with no mess.
I run two air fryers with one kept to just vegetables. The ‘just a little oven’ crowd has zero experience or they would shut up, the air fryer gets to 400 in a couple minutes it’s nothing like the effort of using the oven. Further, flipping items in the oven causes drastic heat loss and less end crunchiness than just quickly shaking the air fryer basket. Easier to use, clean, less energy wasted, it’s a no brainer.
You can get silicone inserts super cheap from temu that make cleanup SUPER easy, too.

2·1 month agoIf I have a large cart of groceries I don’t like self checkout. if i have time I turn all the items so the bar code is on the bottom and stack them so they are easy to drag over the scanner. I also only use the first 2/3 of the belt that’s closest to the checker so they don’t have to lean over and reach for anything.
Staggering produce items introduces slowdowns so best to put them all at the end so you can do your payment info while stuff is being weighed.
My checkouts are fast af.
