“the unavoidable fact that it’s going to break our core systems” means that fixing everything “will take some time”. As such, no replacement launch date was given - “We might get lucky with a day-one fix, it’s unlikely, but it might be a month,” the developer said. “Soon as those fixes are done, we can put it back up again.”
Since ‘indefinitely’ tends to mean forever in gaming news, it’s worth clarifying that the creators just can’t give a date right now. They need to wait and see what needs to be updated, which makes sense.
Some polls back up this analysis. A Quinnipiac survey shows Kennedy getting 13 percent of the vote; he has support from 9 percent of Democrats, 8 percent of Republicans and 20 percent of independents. The poll shows Biden leading Trump by three points in a head-to-head matchup but Trump ahead by one point when third-party candidates are included. Though both numbers are within the poll’s margin of error, they suggest that Trump could benefit if the election isn’t seen as a binary choice.
However, other polls show Kennedy pulling more voters from Trump, and the truth is no one knows how the election will ultimately shake out. “The public polling, if you dig into it, can be really head-swiveling,” said Smith. “It’s very hard to gauge the impact, but it does seem like he pulls from both, and right now — emphasis on ‘right now’ — slightly more from Biden.”
Kennedy certainly has no qualms about spoiling the election for Trump. On CNN on Monday, he argued that Biden poses a “much worse” threat to democracy than Trump because of the Biden administration’s attempts to get social media companies to remove vaccine misinformation, much of it spread by Kennedy
I really don’t see how a pro-Israel, against any ceasefire agreement, candidate that also believes the free market will fix climate change stands to gain more support from former Biden voters than former Trump voters.
Damned if they do and damned if they don’t. They either get condemned for helping keep a GOP speaker in place or they get criticized for not helping and getting stuck another freedom caucus pick speaker, after they bicker for a month.
It looks like slab on grade construction, there’s no moving those. The houses that can be moved are up on posts or over a basement.
This is part of his Infrastructure Bill, requiring battery materials to be extracted or processed in the United States or a U.S. free-trade agreement partner or recycled in North America on an increasing scale. China is way ahead, no question there. It takes time to build that infrastructure and by locking tax credits behind American investment we add pressure to build them on the US.
Maybe they should move the case to DC then so there are enough active Top Secret clearances to create a healthy jury pool.
I bet we are in for 30 years of “the spirit of Donald Trump said to me in prayer…” From politicians and just straight up denial of his death from his followers.
Fully agree. I got my EV used and it’s 7 years old now and buying it was definitely the right choice for me. But I remember considering all of those factors when I was shopping. Used EVs becoming cheap is great and helps get them into the hands of people who can’t afford new ones. Sure I’ll make less selling when I do, but it’s a tool for transportation, not an investment.
While the Herz fleet being sold is definitely impacting Tesla resale prices specifically, I think the larger impact is ICE vs EV resale in general. An ICE car from 5 years ago is not all that different than a new one today, mechanically speaking. 5 years in the EV world is a very long time. A new model will come with longer range and faster charging that was not feasible 5 years ago. So a brand that only sells EVs is going to suffer a bit more in studies like these.
This is a research facility, not a power plant.

Right, not disputing that at all. I’m just saying he’s (or whoever is footing the bill) a long way from actually paying anyone their due.
He’s still not actually paying her. He’s just securing a bond that lets him avoid paying while he seeks an appeal. Just keep kicking the can down the road.
“Donald J. Trump on Friday posted a $91.6 million bond in a defamation case he recently lost to the writer E. Jean Carroll, staving off a potential legal and financial disaster just days before a deadline to secure the deal. The bond, provided by an outside insurance company, will prevent Ms. Carroll from collecting the judgment while Mr. Trump appeals.”
That, and she was quoted in Romney’s book (insert salt grain) saying she didn’t care about reelection because she was already elected and could go sit on any board she wanted or become a university president. She was always just in it for the money and status.
I went to test out a Kona EV a few years ago and the dealer allegedly had one in stock according to the website but when I got there, the guy told me they don’t sell them in my state. I thought that was odd, but he explained it that there was no way to charge them here. I acted dumb and asked why I couldn’t charge at home. He just said it needed a special plug and my state didn’t have those…Not public chargers (of which there were many), the dude tried to tell me my state did not have access to standard RV or Dryer plugs.
But yeah, there are some great used deals out there right now with Hertz dumping their fleet due to collision repair costs.
Dealers are still a big problem for EVs on top of the points mentioned in the article. They complain about it being hard to sell EVs, but also mark up almost every model and push customers toward ICE cars. Dealers are incentivized to sell ICE cars that support them long term with overpriced service intervals and repairs. EVs don’t require as much regular maintenance. States with strong dealer laws like Oklahoma have been fighting against EV adoption by banning direct sales, show rooms, and even service centers.
We’re stuck with him till 2034 at least, he had this to say following his confirmation:
“The liberals made my life miserable for 43 years,” a former clerk renmembered Thomas who was 43 years old when confirmed saying, according to The New York Times. “And I’m going to make their lives miserable for 43 years.”
