I believe the implication is that he soon will be in power but that we might not see as significant changes in policy as we’re hoping for.

Would you consider a digital multi-fx pedal and a frfr speaker?
They’re not typically budget options but you can pick up some good deals if you’re ok getting second hand equipment.
The advantage of a multi-fx pedal is that you can dial in a tone you like and then once you’re happy, buy the equivalent analogue equipment rather than having to try several different combinations of individual pedals, amps and speakers before you find a tone you love.
Well yh, if you don’t believe in the basic democratic principle of innocent until proven guilty.
It’s not bad to be fat
It objectively is and it’s a terrible comparison to being short.
Being fat is terrible for your health and will limit your chances in love. It’s not politically correct to admit it, but most people simply aren’t attracted to people that are overweight, and whilst appearances shouldn’t matter, they absolutely do.
The difference between being short and being fat is that you can’t control your height. Controlling your weight might not be fun, but you can essentially choose what weight you are.
Bullying is obviously never ok, but if you’re not ok with the idea of being called fat, then you can choose not to consistently over eat for long periods of time.
Inb4: I understand some people have severe health and mental issues that are the primary source of their obesity and I empathise hugely with these people, but most overweight people simply lack will power. Losing weight is like giving up smoking, you can want to do it, but you don’t until you say “enough is enough” and actually mean it.
If you hate Musk or Tesla or whatever, that’s one thing, don’t take it out on your fellow man.
I know right? People need to grow a back bone, I’m sure twitter used to be great, but if it’s not for you anymore then move on and don’t look back, there’s plenty of other ways to spend your time.
I know a guy that bought a “distressed” Metallica shirt.
Like, he loves Metallica! He definitely would have worn it enough that it would have distressed itself over time.
Who seriously heard this song and thought, “this sounds amazing, I need to buy the album!”?
It was catchy as a gimmick song but I’m absolutely unsurprised that we didn’t hear anything further from ‘The Ting Tings’.
How did you even get that from my comment?
Agreed. We can agree that this or that group is more or less desirable, but treating any group as less than human is an extremely slippery slope and you might soon enough find that you’ve become what you hated.
Roger has some strong opinions, but if you think he is a hateful person then you’ve absolutely misunderstood him.
In the UK a few pubs have started the “how much would you like to tip?” When you pay by card.
When I see that, it’s always the last pint I buy from there.
Tipping is not customary here. People tip if they think the service is exceptional or they might “buy the bar tender a drink” if they want to build a relationship as a regular. I’m not OK with this shitty American culture creeping in.
In pretty much every other country, you pay once and the worker gets paid from that.
It’s pretty much only America where you pay once for the food and then again for the service because the employees wage is so horrifically low that they can’t survive with out your direct subsidy.
Earning enough from your hourly rate/salary isn’t a punishment, it just simplifies the process and removes the need for the “how much do we tip” conversation.
If you think the service was exceptional, you can still tip, it’s just the difference between rewarding great work and tipping out of obligation.
I have no stake in this, I was just interested, don’t worry about me needing to “feel better”.
Thank you for your opinion.
Ok, that’s what I was interested in thanks.
Not an unpopular opinion
That’s not really the point I’m making.
I’m asking whether the song was best or whether countries were scared to look like they were “non-binary” phobic.
Edit: you can downvote all you want, I’m just asking a question and downvoting without an answer is in its own way an answer, because apparently no one is brave enough to say, “yes, it was by far the best song” 🤷🏼♂️
Did Switzerland win because it was the best song or due to positive discrimination?
waaay more exiting
One overtake in the whole race, looks about the same to me 🤷🏼♂️
If heads are going to roll, can we start with the people that privatised a natural monopoly and used it as an ATM whilst simultaneously plunging it in to multiple billions of pounds of debt?
