Surprised that is legal. Why not require them to build their own rather than scoop up existing homes and outcompete regular buyers?
Thank you for your contributions here! I’ve removed the negative comments
They’ve been banned. There is so much negativity on the rest of Lemmy. This is our little pocket to be optimistic and positive.
He’s been banned. Some people just can’t stand to see others by positive or optimistic smh
There is so much to be optimistic about! Workplaces are safer than they have ever been. Luxuries are plentiful. War and famine are a rarity rather than the norm. Life is good.
Some states don’t even have sales tax. US is a giant country with many different sets of laws
Username checks out 😂. Nice try tho
I already have many of native trees in my yard. For the small clearing there is, fescue is the way to go. It probably depends on where you are but in my region this is what works best for 99% of people
Native grasses here can’t be mowed short. Ticks/fleas are already an issue and I’d rather not make them worse. And imagine picking up dog poop in tall grass. No thanks. I’ll stick with my fescue
What do you have planted instead of your lawn?
Agreed I’d rather not have mud for my front yard
So many good updates! Great job. Local only would be good for Reddthat support, community discussion, etc.
Most people do though and they won’t see Lemmy posts. It might just be that google is still figuring out how to index federated websites
Ya I think once they fix it you will see the inverse. Probably a lot of mobile iOS users
I think discoverability of niche communities is another big issue. It’s hard to find them and even when you do a lot of the times the algorithm won’t show them to you.
Killed quickly? A bear eats its prey alive. This has to be the cringiest response I’ve seen on here 😂. People like you are why women are saying bear
