    I mean technically steam is a third party launcher and uplay likely is a first party launcher

        Because Steam is extremely reliable. Outages are rare. The same can’t be said for other launchers.

          And super convient. Almost everything is just there, fair policies towards consumers, good support etc etc.

      It’s bad when your first-party launcher feels like an economy class ticket compared to the rest.

      At least Steam almost always works. My Paradox launcher breaks like once a month.
