If you Google something and the results you need is on a reddit page but you’re unable to view for any reason, such as the user deleting the post or the sub going dark, there is a work around to get the info you need. Copy the link from Google and In your web browsers search bar/ URL bar type Cache: followed by the URL you copied.
This will bring up a cached copy of the reddit page. Bonus is reddit doesn’t get any ad revenue for this. Google used to have an option to view cached pages in a hamburger menu next to the search result. This is doing the same thing, but Google took away the button.
Which browsers have you tested this with? Interested to see which browsers do not support the above trick.
If you happen to be using one of those btw, you can still do this, just go to duckduckgo and put in the !cache followed by the url and duckduckgo will take you there.
Also, if archive.is doesn’t have a saved copy of a page, it includes a link to google’s cache.

If it was deleted prior to the API changes you can also just look it up using Unddit.com
or just go to archive.org and use the wayback machine. newer posts need some fudgery to find the comments since archiveteam snatches content right as it is posted and due to that comments are only reachable via their link
