As an adult I sometimes realise I could just go out in my car and buy cake if I had a car and a whole-ass cake wasn’t an expense I’d have to budget for before impulse-buying on a whim ):

They never said there are no consequences. Being an adult means making that decision yourself, rather than having a parent tell you “no.” Being an adult is bullshit.

As an adult whose kids are moving out to college, I always forget how sick I can make myself buying just one cake …. From Costco

As an adult with kids, there is nothing more satisfying than to stealthily eat sweets, while your kids play in the same room. And not get noticed. Very hard to pull off. But so satisfying. Because you can think about eating chocolate and they come running.
