I am 40 solid minutes into a long as puzzle quest in act 3. I have a “eureka!” Moment as I realize what to do in the last portion. Tragedy suddenly strikes- I perhaps graze an fn key (idk which) and apparently that particular key LOADS YOUR LAST SAVE ??? The worst part was I was literally about to save after writing morning me a note on what to do. And of course my last save was mid combat so now I have a fight to do all over again. Why is that even a button?

F5 for quicksave and F8 for quickload is standard for games. Has been for at least a decade. It’s very useful.

I used it when I accidentally had Hope nuke herself fighting Raphael with Divine Intervention.

Took me three times doing that fight to realize fiends reflect radiant damage. Kept nuking shadow heart and hope.

Only if Raphael draws souls. If you kill or Paralyze him before he can they don’t get it.

I’d prefer if they did it like with the controller interface that you need to tap f5 to save but hold down f8 for a couple of seconds for loading

It’s a somewhat standardized functionality in many good games. Personally I have also lost some progress due to accidentally pressing it but I’d be way more annoyed to not have quick save and quick load as an option.

You should always check the controls / key bindings in games, sometimes there’s very useful stuff there.
