Im new and have only experienced it once so far and I would describe the feeling as ‘incomplete’ vs normal cumming.
It just feels like the enjoyment is basically null as I always equated it to finishing. So its tough to not try to cum while caged which still takes a while for me without a wand. I always enjoyed edging but not finishing during the same session still has getting used to.
