    Sealioning (also sea-lioning and sea lioning) is a type of trolling or harassmentthat consists of pursuing people with relentless requests for evidence, often tangential or previously addressed, while maintaining a pretense of civility and sincerity (“I’m just trying to have a debate”), and feigning ignorance of the subject matter.[1][2][3][4] It may take the form of “incessant, bad-faith invitations to engage in debate”,[5] and has been likened to a  denial-of-service attack targeted at human beings.[6] The term originated with a 2014 strip of the webcomic Wondermark by David Malki,[7] which The Independent called “the most apt description of Twitter you’ll ever see”.[8]

      The only specific response you’ve given me didn’t tell me what was wrong, it linked me to a comment accusing me of doing something wrong. I don’t KNOW what I did wrong, and you just won’t tell me! And now you’re making things up about the DOT in other comments?? Seriously, what was it that I said that made that comment bigoted. What was it that I said that made any comment here bigoted. I’m crying trying to figure out what the hell to do different so this doesn’t happen again and I don’t come across bigoted, and all you’re doing is being a dick to me for that. Please, just, fucking please, can you explain like I’m a goddamn idiot child and explain what I did WRONG here??
