if you have never tried long pepper aka pippali, look for some. it’s so good
Oh, it’s not that we dislike pepper—far from it! But having black specks in the sauce is a non-starter.
I kinda get that, it kinda spoils it doesn’t it?
I don’t have sensory issues so I get the luxury of getting to choose, but in lighter dips and sauces I for sure prefer white pepper because it’s just nicer
