Oh, definitely. I don’t pay a lot of attention to what Germany is up to, but I remember thinking it was weird that they were getting so chummy. Part of me feels like Germany hasn’t been shunned enough yet. There are still people alive that remember WWII. Obama’s QE2 (quantitative easing). As the US was mired in the 2009 global financial crisis, near the end of 2010, QE2 created $600 billion dollars to save the banking sector from failing. This created a high risk of commodity price inflation overseas, which would hit net exporter countries like China particularly hard since they import a lot of raw materials for their manufacturing sector.
China stopped buying USD and went into purchasing eurozone debt instead, because propping up the USD would only make their producer price more expensive. As the QE2 came to an end and the inflation was not as bad as everyone thought, China ditched the euro and resumed the USD purchase again.

Oh no no. Especially during the early stages of the war, calling Russians “orcs” was practically the standard lingo. The whole reason why I grew disillusioned with the anglos over the war was that I was horrified by how extremely genocidal Europeans had become practically overnight. When people on “my side” were chanting for the wholesale extermination of Russians, I had a “are we the baddies” moment basically.
For me it was this and honestly it was coupled with wondering why every single combat footage video was from the Ukranian pov and why after a few months of what was being painted as a completely one sided battle the Ukrainians weren’t making any advances.
Seems weird that the only country with functional weapons being outfitted by every single nato country was having such a hard time against people that allegedly didn’t know what a toilet was.
