Somehow, France, the country known for pickpockets in Paris, is not yellow. Also how is this person racist enough to discriminate against Italians and Spaniards? This is some 1860’s tier racism.

I once heard someone say the southern Spaniards were basically like the Turks because like the Turks they were a combination of the Roman empire and the middle east and that’s why Franco happened because the Italian side is culturally inclined to fascism or something and the middle eastern side is culturally inclined to authoritarian strong men

the “retvrn to tradition” guys are always racist in a very 1950s-1960s way, very boring. not once have I seen one of them that is digging up racial slurs that literally have not been uttered a single time in 150 years and can only be found in the journals of some corrupt British viceroy, so this kind of map is a new innovation

mediterranean spain and greece are like the number one tourist destinations in europe? especially for beached moby-dick anglos, dutch and nordics. i’m sure you can find some dystopian resort town where you can stagger around all day between “irish” bars and all-day breakfasts and chip shops and only interact with other northern baron harkonnens, and maybe some local service staff.

so what’s this guy’s problem with south europe? that there are some north african people there, and non euros are scary? that the local people are somewhat tanned because it’s sunnier and therefore us-foreign-policy ? or is he doing the dennis hopper in true romance bit unironically?

let’s see what this dude finds acceptable:

    • good tier: scandinavia except anywhere within a two-hour drive of stockholm (isn’t malmo the place in scandinavia that rightoids love to hate?)
    • ok tier: estonia (??), former occupied germany, finance mountain, west poland (???), apple italy, french b*lgium, an incomprehensible section of france
    • questionable tier: stockholm and the surrounding countryside, republic of ireland, latvthuania, former ddr, pasta italy, bohemia, austria, the parts of former yuguslavia where any anglo tourist has ever been, le epic weed and stag night nederland, nederflanders
    • scary tier: ukkk , bretagne (???), provence (???), central poland, east czechia (??), slovakia, belarus, atlantic spain
    • i pee my pants tier: middle spain/portugal, pizza italy, the french riviera, east poland, greece, romania, bulgaria
    • literally mordor tier: le ebil russia, orbania, the place in former yugoslavia where they had wars and stuff, basque country (?) mediterranean spain, south portugal, mafia italy

is it just us-foreign-policy + places that were socialist + muslim migrant + risk of pickpocketing?

Southern Spain paid the map maker as part of their volcel-kamala Do Not Come campaign.

Some islands like Mykonos have pretty much entirely transformed to this, locals can’t afford shit because it’s all targeted to the rich colonizers that own houses with pools and shit there

It’s funny because this map is basically inverted. The Balkans are insanely safe.

    CW: crimes

    Homicide rates, rape, assault,

etc are all vastly lower than Western Europe. Same with places like Poland. You’re far more likely to be robbed or murdered in Paris or London than you are in Sarajevo or Warsaw.

You’re not going to get robbed in Eastern Germany or Austria. The local population might give you shit if you’re not-white though unfortunately.

Also western Poland isn’t any better than Eastern Poland.

To claim any area in Europe (well, except for maybe Ukraine due to the whole war zone stuff) is “don’t fucking go there, keep the fuck away from it” is hilarious sheltered and/or (most likely tbh) racist nonsense.

I’d dispute that but I don’t really feel like getting that deep into it. Like Szczecin and Rzeszów feel like two different countries, and there’s a reason the idea of a Poland A and Poland B is extremely widespread here. But is it as severe as the shitty infographic wants to make it out to be? Not really, except if you are LGBTQ+, you’ll be a bit safer in Poland A… But still safest in the big cities is Poland A.

I mean, I’m from Mazowsze, have family from Lubelskie and go to Lower Silesia fairly often since it’s the closest area to go to from Southern Germany.

There’s less chuds in the west, but the difference isn’t really that big. You’ll get beaten up by a football hooligan for being visibly gay in Wrocław the same as in Lublin.
