There are a lot of tanky posts coming from lemmy.ml. Their whole purpose seems to be to troll and spread their bullshit far and wide. They are nearly as bad as the alt-right. They argue in bad faith and celebrate authoritarian oppression. The beehaw mods might want to consider defederating.

    Yes capitalism is failing us but their belief that forcing everyone into their “ism” will lead to utopia is a disingenuous lie.

      Not so hard to understand that a government representing people instead of a government representing corporations makes a hell of a lot more sense for humanity.

        I think we all want a government that represents the individual. I think we want the opportunity to contribute to society. I think we want the opportunity for self-betterment. I think we want to be understood by society. But choosing to die on the altar of some “ism” doesn’t get us there.

          There is a reason why the CIA’s sole purpose of existence has been to target socialism and communism. The US has been blasted with propaganda. I don’t expect you to “convert” but try and keep an open mind.
